I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

Almost Spring! A walk on the beach...

Hello Everyone!

Today I went for a walk on the beach down at Garry Point. It was beautiful. I noticed there was a lot of driftwood out there, more than I've ever seen at any one time. I think that's probably due to some of the high winds we've been having lately. I don't know if it's because I've been painting again after all these years, but I found myself looking at the driftwood differently. I noticed the different colors and textures, I wish I could have hauled some of the bigger pieces home with me! I took some pictures I want to share with you, I hope you enjoy them...

I did, however leave with a few pieces!

Some boats were little, some not so little.

These logs "decorated" with wormholes are amazing!

A sure sign spring will be here soon! :)

 Great balancing act!

This looks so peaceful to me.

I hope I haven't bored you too much with my pictures...I am a little picture happy, combine that with the beach, and well...
I took over two hundred and only posted these, so consider yourselves lucky! LOL

Have a great week!

Oops, I forgot a few!

 That's it for now!
