I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

Frugal Frenchie's Friday Finds! From Bellingham.

Today was a bit different from my regular Friday's spent thrifting....Mike and I went to Bellingham to do some shopping for a few things we needed for our upcoming vacation in Mexico (8 days away!!!). I checked out the "Village" (you are supposed to say that with a french accent, ok?) which is huge in Bellingham and the Salvation Army Thrift Store (which we no longer have in Richmond). I found just a few little treasures, a pretty white peasant skirt and a few tops for our trip.

Take a look:

A fair sized bag of seashells, which to my surprise included a SEAHORSE!

 How cool is that!?
And this pretty turquoise table cloth (square).
 Three little wooden white frames...

This lovely white milk glass dish with a basket weave pattern on it...LUV!
And of course the Easterner in me could not resist the "Fresh Lobsters Sold Here" sign!

I also scored 7 + yards of this gorgeous white cotton eyelet fabric,
which I have plans for when we get back from Mexico,
and this pretty little wooden box (pretty beaten up that is, but I like it)

 It already has a home!

And last but not least, this sweet little beach tote.....purrrrrrfect!
That's it for this Friday, it was fun to go somewhere different....
looking forward to the Cloverdale Flea Market this summer!

Thanks for following,
XX
