I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". Painting Finished!

Hi there! I finally finished my painting. It had been years since I've painted on canvas, so it was a bit of a challenge, nonetheless, it was fun. I put a few of my favorite things in this painting.
  1. the beautiful turquoise blues of the Caribbean Ocean
  2. curtains flowing in the ocean breeze
  3. my turquoise vase
  4. open window frame 
  5. skeleton key
  6. a peony
  7. a starfish
 
The key unlocks the window.
 It's far from perfect, but I'm satisfied it's done.
I even signed it to stop myself from "tweaking" anymore! LOL
Here it is...
 Done...What next?
