A few years ago Mike and I removed the carpeting fron the stairs and replaced it with wood and beadboard, for a more "cottagy" look. The carpeting was not very good quality and with pets, it was a total disaster. But even after adding the wood, it still lacked charm...
Very plain and standard for these townhouses.
Could definitely use some warmth....
