I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". It's a SIGN!

Ha! I got a facebook message from my niece asking if it's too late to ask me to make her a sign, i'm leaving for a visit with her on Monday. She asked for something like "fresh eggs" or something related to the two goats she just got.

I swear we can read each other's minds!

I've been working on this sign for her all week. I just got it finished.


 First I downloaded some silhouettes from the internet.
 Then I pulled out my stencils...

 
 Before I did any sanding to rough it up a bit...
 How's that for mind reading, eggs and goat milk!
 After distressing it.
 I hope they like it!
