I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

A cold, rainy fall day!

On Tuesday morning the drive to work was just beautiful! I love a crisp, sunny fall days!

The farmers fields had a beautiful glow about them, a low lying fog and a bright  colorful sky...picture perfect!...Except I didn't have my camera! Argh!

So, this morning when I woke up, I hoped the sun was shining like yesterday. It wasn't, it was sombre and wet. I decided to venture out for a little photo taking session anyway. It is such an enjoyable way to spend time, it relaxes me & reminds me how beautiful the world is.

Things can be pretty, even on a rainy day!

That's all for now, I hope you enjoy them.

Maybe tomorrow will be a repeat of Tuesday, we'll see...I'd love to capture the beauty of the fog in the sun on camera, for you to see.
