I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

Ships to Shore - Can't get more "Coastal" than this!

I know I go on about how much I love Mexico, but I really do love where we live too...Steveston rocks! I rode my bike down there today (3 minute ride) it was insanely busy, just bursting at the seams because of the Tall Ships.

I just love going down there with my camera in hand, every time I do I am  reminded of how lucky I am to live where I live!

It was such a beautiful day!
 Fisherman's Wharf

Gary Point, tall ships in the distance...
A tug boat working hard!

The Tall Ships

 Pirates looking for treasure?
Or looking for trouble?

It's amazing to have this view on one side...
This on the other!

 At Gary Point Park
What a spectacular view!

Hmmm, snow cone anyone? I mean REALLY!
Argh Matey! Ya ever been to sea?
The Pirate's planning a mutiny!

Some people are braver than others! LOL
