I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

WARNING! Pathological Picture Taker at Large!!!

Hi! If you follow my blog, you know of whom I speak!....ME!

I'm sorry, I can't help myself! I'm addicted to my camera...it's a disease, really, I kid you not! I even get upset at myself when we go out and I see something photo worthy, but find that, alas, I have FORGOTTEN MY CAMERA!!! EEEEEEK!

Seriously folks, I am addicted. So, If you find yourself bored with them, please forgive me and remember, I have Canonitis (no known treatment). Sounds terrible, doesn't it? Hmmm. All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for DIGITAL! lol

Consider yourselves forewarned - and run now if you are not interested!

 Don't say I didn't warn you!
==================
Today was another gloriously beautiful summer day out here on the west coast of Canada, so camera in hand, I went down to Gary Point Park in Steveston to take a few shots...

 Wouldn't that make a nice rustic mantle?

 I noticed several pieces of driftwood art, randomly placed on the beach....
as you'll notice in some of the shots.

 I just love the contrast in this one.

 Aren't these gorgeous? I love that shade of pink, and paired with that vivid blue! YUM!

 A Chinese fisherman, patiently awaiting his catch.

I hope you enjoyed my little walk on the beach.
