I am a wife, a mother, an auntie and a friend. I love thrifting, garage sales, re-purposing, creating, painting, anything that makes our little rental home more welcoming, comfortable and cozy. I have discovered the "art" of amateur photography & I love the idea of capturing the beauty in the ordinary everyday things that surround us. Blogging is a wonderful way to make new friends and share with people who have the same interests. My personal taste in decorating leans towards "casual cottage/coastal decor". I now have a small shop on etsy, called "SandySeashore" where you'll find some of my vintage finds, my photography and some handmade things. I hope you take the time to check it out! Thanks for droppin' in!

It's never too cold for the beach!

"Baby it's cold outside" today, but never too cold for me and my camera! Although, three hours later, my hands are still freezing!!!LOL

Yup, I went photo crazy again! Feel free to pass on viewing them, there are quite a few, nonetheless, here they are:

I wish I could have gotten a picture of this man from the front, close-up.
He looked exactly like a real "Ship's Captain".

I noticed a glare in several of my shots, I'm very disappointed by that.
I'll have to read more on how to avoid it.
See that? How annoying!

Ugh! there it is again, right in the middle of the shot!

On such a cold, windy day, I was so happy to see this sign of SPRING!

The wind was blowing sand everywhere!
The photo above show's the sand blowing, it's not a Picnik effect!

Not a lot of words, but you know what they say: "A picture is worth a thousand words"!

Hope you enjoyed them. I'm gonna put my gloves on now and hope my fingers thaw out! ;)

Thanks for following!
xx
